The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Freda Roettger
Former Celina resident Freda A. Roettger, 93, of White Lake, Mich., died Oct. 28, 2007, at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital, Pontiac, Mich.
She was born Feb. 13, 1914, in Celina, to Carl and Minnie Brown Boise. Her husband of 72 years, Owen A. Roettger, died in April 2005.
Surviving are a son, Keith O. (Irene), of Michigan; a daughter, Janet D. Squires, of Michigan; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter, Karen K. Corbett; two brothers, John F. Boise and Percell C. Boise; a sister, Bernice H. Fetters; and a granddaughter.
She was a member of Celina First Church of God and formerly a member of University Presbyterian Church, Rochester, Mich. She also was a member of Crittendon Hospital Auxiliary of Rochester.
Services are 2:30 p.m. Thursday at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Richard Van Horn officiating. Burial is at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 1-2:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
