Leroy Kable
Leroy Dean Kable, 63, of Celina, died Dec. 25, 2007, at his home. Death was due to natural causes.
He was born April 12, 1944, in Liberty Township, Mercer County, to William and Mary Griggs Kable, who are deceased.
Surviving are two sons, Larry, of Arkansas, and Brian, Celina; four daughters, Cindy (Brad) Mink, Union City, Ind., Debbie Denny, Geneva, Ind., Amy (Matt) Denny, Mendon, and Tracy (Duffy) Baldauf, Bluffton, Ind.; a stepdaughter, Tina Donovan, Berne, Ind.; three brothers, Keith (Bev), Decatur, Ind., Roger, Rockford, and Lowell (Sandy), Portland, Ind.; 15 grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Gerald and Gary.
He retired from the former Mersman Furniture Co., Celina, and had worked in construction.
Services are 1 p.m. Friday at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford, the Rev. Catherine Costello officiating. Burial is at St. Paul's United Church of Christ Cemetery, Rockford.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday and after noon Friday at the funeral home.
