* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

Herbert Anderson
Herbert Eugene "Bob" Anderson, 80, 7488 Hellwarth Road, Celina, died at 5:54 p.m. Dec. 24, 2008, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
He was born Jan. 15, 1928, in Mercer County, to Albert B. and Martha J. Ransbottom Anderson. On Sept. 6, 1951, he married Audra L. Ayers, who survives.
Other survivors are five sons, Doug, Whichita, Kan., Gary, Gas City, Ind., Mark (Amanda), Dearborn, Mich., Kelly (Gail), St. Charles, Mo., and Greg, Columbus; a daughter, Linda, Celina; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Deceased are four brothers, Warren, Howard, James Russell and Ashley Anderson; three sisters, Eva Hosel, Elsie Wright and Esther Lacy; and two grandchildren.
He retired from the former Huffy Bicycle Corp. of Celina where he worked in quality control layout. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict and attended Montezuma United Methodist Church. A 1946 graduate of Celina High School, he was a member of the Vetereans of Foreign Wars, Celina.
Services are 11 a.m. Monday at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Matt Burden officiating. Burial is at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
