The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

JoAnn Roberts
JoAnn Roberts, 73, of rural Spencerville, died at 11:40 a.m. May 11, 2009, at her home.
She was born March 3, 1936, in Delphos, to Edwin and Lela Putman Lindeman. On May 19, 1956, she married Richard J. Roberts, who survives.
Other survivors are eight children, Debra (Robert) Kratzenberg, Plain City, Cheryl (Bill) Stewart, Terri Jo (Terry) England, Ed (Rhonda) Roberts, all of Spencerville, Steven (Lois) Roberts, Peru, N.Y., Judy (David) Hight, Celina, and Tom and Greg Roberts, both of Spencerville; three brothers, Gerald (Kaye) Lindeman, Delphos, Jimmy (Sue) Lindeman, Ohio City, and Larry (Joyce) Lindeman, Delphos; a sister, Carol (Bob) Maloney, Middle Point; 25 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are eight brothers, Edwin Jr., Carl "Popeye", Joseph, Donnie, Kenny, Paul and infant twins; three sisters, Dorothy Jean Williams, Marilyn Martin and Donna Snavley.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Spencerville, and had attended Delphos Jefferson Schools.
Family graveside services will be held at the New Salem Cemetery, south of Monticello, the Rev. Andrew J. Atkins and her son-in-law, Brother Robert Kratzenberg, officiating.
There will be no calling hours.

Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Spencerville, is handling arrangements.
