The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Edwin Burton
Edwin L. Burton Sr., 71, 13785 Hillgrove-Fort Recovery Road, Fort Recovery, died at 9:07 p.m. May 20, 2009, at the Cleveland Clinic.
He was born July 19, 1937, in Aurora, Ill., to Steward and Frances Boswell Burton. On Aug. 4, 1956, he married Iris Kyle, who survives.
Other survivors are a son, Edwin Jr. (Michelle) Burton, Columbus; a daughter, Suzanne (Mark) Wampler, Huber Heights; three brothers, Steward (Ann) Burton, Bedford, Ind., Francis (Sue) Burton, Stockton, Mo., and Floyd Burton, Phoenix, Ariz.; a sister, Louise (Zane) Smith, Mesa, Ariz.; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a sister, Fern Feltz.
He retired from Fort Recovery Industries and was a graduate of Roosevelt High School, Dayton. He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church, Union City, Ind.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, the Revs. Keith Hoover and Lloyd Shepherd officiating. Burial is at Spring Hill Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
Calling is 6-8 p.m. Monday and 9:30 a.m. until services Tuesday at the funeral home.
