The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Martin Selhorst
Martin "Marty" Louis Selhorst, 47, of Lakeworth, Fla., died May 21, 2009, at his home due to natural causes.
He was born June 20, 1961, in Coldwater to Bernard and Carol Stammen Selhorst. His father is deceased and his mother survives in North Star. On Oct. 25, 1986, he married Christine Hay.
Also surviving are his in-laws, Herbert and Eunice Hay, Coldwater; brothers, Marvin and Ann Selhorst, Wapakoneta, Steve and Jane Selhorst, North Star, Joseph and Irene Selhorst, North Star, Jerry and Amy Bruggeman, Wellington, Fla., Luke and Carla Selhorst, Dayton, and Christopher and Deb Selhorst, Dayton; sisters, Ann and Ron Fleckenstein, Fort Recovery, and Theresa Selhorst, North Star.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. May 30 at St. Louis Church, North Star, the Rev. David Zink officiating.
