Eugene Huelskamp
Eugene E. Huelskamp, 74, of St. Henry, died Oct. 21, 2009, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
He was born Jan. 10, 1935, in Sharpsburg to Aloys and Mildred Harlett Huelskamp. On Oct. 13, 1962, he married Mildred Fullenkamp, who died July 14, 2006.
Surviving are three sons: David (Cheryl) Huelskamp, Versailles, Ronald (Amy) Huelskamp, Mulberry, Ind., and Nicholas Huelskamp, Coldwater; a brother Arthur (Janis) Huelskamp, Fort Recovery; three sisters, Sister Alma Huelskamp and Sister Luella Huelskamp, both of Dayton and Mildred Will, Fort Recovery; a sister-in-law, Luella Huelskamp, Minster; and eight grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Alfred and Ernest Huelskamp; and two sisters, Theresa Brockman and Margaret Huelskamp.
He was employed by Hull Brothers, Ft. Recovery for over 48 years. He attended St. Henry Catholic Church where he was active in Why Catholic, St. Henry Knights of Columbus and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church. Burial is at the church cemetery with military honors conducted by the St. Henry American Legion.
Calling is Sunday, 2-7 p.m. at Hogenkamp's Funeral Home, St. Henry.
