Eugene Huelskamp
Eugene E. Huelskamp, 74, 611 N. Eastern Ave., St. Henry, died Oct. 21, 2009, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
He was born Jan. 10, 1935, in Sharpsburg to Aloys and Rosa Harlett Huelskamp. On Oct. 13, 1962, he married Mildred Fullenkamp, who died July 14, 2006.
Surviving are three sons, David (Cheryl) Huelskamp, Versailles, Ronald (Amy) Huelskamp, Mulberry, Ind., and Nicholas Huelskamp, Coldwater; a brother, Arthur (Janis) Huelskamp, Fort Recovery; three sisters, Sister Alma Huelskamp and Sister Luella Huelskamp, both of Dayton, and Mildred Will, Fort Recovery; a sister-in-law, Luella Huelskamp, Minster; and eight grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Alfred and Ernest Huelskamp; and two sisters, Theresa Brockman and Margaret Huelskamp.
He was employed by Hull Brothers, Fort Recovery, for over 48 years. He attended St. Henry Catholic Church, where he was active in Why Catholic. He was a member of the St. Henry Knights of Columbus and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Tom Hemm officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery with military honors to be conducted by the St. Henry American Legion.
Calling is 2-7 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry.
