* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT Friday.
* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Consecutive days of high heat and humidity can be especially hazardous as warm overnight temperatures will provide little relief.

At 448 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Kalida to near Sidney, moving east at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Sidney, Bellefontaine, Wapakoneta, Ada, Fort Shawnee, Cridersville, West Liberty, Anna, Jackson Center, Russells Point, De Graff, Botkins, Lakeview, Alger, Waynesfield, Belle Center, Chippewa Park, Northwood, Roundhead, and Quincy.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 86 and 118.

William Ahlers
William C. Ahlers, 67, 615 N. Main St., New Bremen, died at 2 a.m. Nov. 8, 2009 at his residence.
He was born Feb. 18, 1942, in New Bremen to Harold and Frances Ruwoldt Ahlers. On Jan. 27, 1964, he married Joan Denney, who survives.
Other survivors are his children, Christine (Tim) Bowers and Melissa (Michael) Schott, all of New Bremen and Mark (Lisa) Ahlers, Minster; two sisters Roslyn (Homer) Stutsman, Botkins and Elaine (Ernie) Covault, New Port Richey, Fla.; and ten grandchildren.
Deceased is a sister Jeanette Guffy.
He had formerly worked as a livestock hauler for Tuente Stockyards, Osgood, and retired in 2007 from Crown Equipment Corporation, New Bremen, where he was a welder. He was a member of the Woodman of the World Camp 149, New Bremen.
Services are 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen, the Rev. Jim Nuhfer officiating. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 3-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Contributions can be made to the New Bremen Emergency Squad or the Tri-County Visiting Nurses and Hospice.
