Slick spots can be expected on untreated roadways as well as bridges and overpasses. If traveling overnight, allow for some extra time to reach your destination and be prepared for winter driving conditions.

Janice Richey
Janice F. Richey, 69, St. Marys, died at 6:44 a.m. June 29, 2010, at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.
She was born May 23, 1941, in Richmond, Ind., to Herman and Letha Allen Abney. She married Melvin Harris, who preceded her in death. On Feb. 12, 1993, she married Herbert Richey, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Sherie (Terry) Elder, and Diana (Douglas) Charles, all of Lakeview; two stepchildren, Lonnie Richey, Montezuma, and Lorraine (Shawn) Moeller, Coldwater; two brothers, Amos Abney, Centerville, Ind., and Bill Abney, Harrodsburg, Ky.; two sisters, Wanda Pippin, Richmond, Ind., and Ruth (Ernie) Bufford, Fountain City, Ind.; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and five stepgrandchildren.
Also deceased is a brother, Herman Abney, Jr.
She worked at Wapak Products as a seamstress. She was a member of the Lake Improvement Association and the Moose Lodge and American Legion Auxiliary, all in Celina, and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles 767 Auxiliary in St. Marys.
Memorial rites are 4 p.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home in St. Marys, Brother Bill Abney officiating. A private burial will be held.
Calling is 2-4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
