Temperatures will climb into the upper 80s to lower 90s today. This will combine with a humid airmass to produce heat indicies in the 95 to 100 degree range this afternoon. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening.

The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued an Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio, through midnight EDT tonight. Smoke from Canadian wildfires will adversely impact air quality. The Agency expects the Air Quality Index to be in the 'unhealthy for sensitive groups' range. Donald Brandt
Donald R. Brandt, 90, Anna, died at 6:42 a.m. Sept. 16, 2010, at his home.
Funeral services are 10 a.m. Monday at St. Jacob Lutheran Church in Anna, the Rev. Michael Althauser officiating. Burial is at Willow Grove Cemetery in New Bremen.
Calling is 2-5 p.m. Sunday at Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home in New Bremen and 9-10 a.m. Monday at the church.
Memorials can be made to the church memorial fund, the Anna Rescue Squad or the Kettlersville/Van Buren Township Fire Department.
