The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Catherine Reed
Catherine "Cathy" Reed, 69, Lima, died at 1:10 p.m. Sept. 15, 2011, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
She was born Jan. 5, 1942, in Van Wert to James Richard and Harriette Elizabeth English Miller, who are both deceased. On Sept. 6, 1960, she married Richard "Dick" Reed, who survives.
Also surviving are four daughters, Ann Erpenbeck, Cincinnati, Ruth Reed and Missy Reed, both of Louisville, and Heidi Reed, Rockford; a sister, Gretchen (Ford) Bollenbacher, Rockford; and four grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, James Miller.
She was a member of Shawnee Alliance Church, where she had been part of the Deep Healing Ministry and had been a deaconess.
A memorial service is 5:30 p.m. Sunday at the church, Daniel Messner officiating.
Calling is 3-5 p.m. Sunday at the church.
