* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...The following counties, in west central Ohio, Auglaize, Darke, Mercer and Shelby.
* WHEN...Until 700 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 356 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Fort Loramie, New Bremen, Minster, Newport, New Knoxville, Russia, Osgood, Willowdell, Chickasaw, Kettlersville, Yorkshire, Lake Loramie State Park, Egypt, Maria Stein, Mccartyville and Houston.

Daniel Davenport

Daniel Lee Davenport, 50, Valley Station, Ky., died Jan. 3, 2012.

He was born Jan. 7, 1961. His father, Leon Davenport, is deceased. His mother and stepfather, Phyllis and David Griesdorn, survive in Coldwater. On Sept. 8, 1981, he married Lavonna Kay Hibbs, who survives.

Also surviving are a son, Jesse (Miranda) Davenport, Kentucky; siblings, Connie (David) Henderson, Celina, Anita (Mike) Rammel, St. Henry, Terry (Terri) Davenport, Odon, Ind., David (Paula) Griesdorn, Coldwater, and Dean (Ellen) Griesdorn, Coldwater.

Deceased is a sister, Lori Kay.

He was a 1979 graduate of Coldwater schools. He was a truck driver for Pavco Co., Kentucky.

Calling is 1-5 p.m. Saturday at Newcomer Funeral Home, Louisville, Ky. Private burial will follow.
