At 459 PM EDT, gusty showers were located along a line extending from near Ada to near Northridge, moving east at 25 mph. Some of these showers are capable of producing funnel clouds and isolated thunder.
HAZARD...Funnel clouds and wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include... Marysville, Bellefontaine, Urbana, Kenton, Ada, Plain City, Richwood, St. Paris, West Liberty, Mechanicsburg, North Lewisburg, Forest, Russells Point, De Graff, Lakeview, Dunkirk, Alger, Belle Center, West Mansfield, and Chippewa Park.
Conditions are favorable for the development of weak, brief funnel clouds. This type of funnel cloud is harmless, but on rare occasions they can briefly touch down, producing wind gusts over 50 mph. If a funnel cloud is spotted move indoors and report your sighting to the National Weather Service.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.

Joseph Sarfi
Joseph L. Sarfi, 94, Celina, died Jan. 14, 2012, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 2, 1917, in Cleveland, to Joszef and Mari Stefarak Sarfi. On April 21, 1943, he married Harriet F. Dudek, who died Sept. 3, 2005.
Surviving are three children, Glenn R. (Santosh) Sarfi, Chicago, Valerie Strohl, Celina, and Gayle (Gerry) Simon, Kent; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Also deceased are a son-in-law, Bruce Strohl; a brother, Steve Sarfi; and a sister-in-law, Margaret Sarfi.
He was a 1935 graduate of East Tech High School and received an associate degree from Case Tech College. He served with the U. S. Army during World War II and retired in 1990 from the SKRL Tool Company, Cleveland.
He was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church, Parma, where he served as treasurer and on the board of directors for the St. Charles Credit Union. He attended Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina, and was a member of Knights of Columbus St. Pius X.
Service is 1 p.m. Wednesday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Kenneth Alt officiating. Burial will follow in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery, Celina. Military honors will be provided by the American Legion Post 210 and VFW Post 5713, Celina.
Calling is one hour before service at the funeral home.
