At 459 PM EDT, gusty showers were located along a line extending from near Ada to near Northridge, moving east at 25 mph. Some of these showers are capable of producing funnel clouds and isolated thunder.
HAZARD...Funnel clouds and wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include... Marysville, Bellefontaine, Urbana, Kenton, Ada, Plain City, Richwood, St. Paris, West Liberty, Mechanicsburg, North Lewisburg, Forest, Russells Point, De Graff, Lakeview, Dunkirk, Alger, Belle Center, West Mansfield, and Chippewa Park.
Conditions are favorable for the development of weak, brief funnel clouds. This type of funnel cloud is harmless, but on rare occasions they can briefly touch down, producing wind gusts over 50 mph. If a funnel cloud is spotted move indoors and report your sighting to the National Weather Service.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.

Robert Davis
Former St. Marys resident Robert L. Davis, 88, Fort Myers, Fla., died Jan. 28, 2012, at Health Park Care Center, Fort Myers.
He was born Dec. 18, 1923, in Union City, Ohio, to Robert C. and Mariam B. Jobes Davis. He married Marjorie Weimer, who died in September 1960. On Dec. 8, 1961, he married Mary M. Gibson Casler, who survives.
Also surviving are two children, Mark A. (Sonya) Davis, Fort Myers, and Jolene Burke, St. Marys; a brother, James L. Davis, Union City, Ind.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Deceased are three children, Carol Elaine Davis, Ronald L. Davis and Douglas L. Casler.
A 1941 graduate of Union City Indiana High School, he served with the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
He was an industrial engineer for Goodyear Tire & Rubber, St. Marys, retiring in 1981. He worked as caretaker at St. Marys Boat Club for 13 years.
He had served as board president at Auglaize School, New Bremen, for two terms. In the late 1960s, he worked with board members and parents to build the new school and workshop.
He was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Scottish Rite, Valley of Dayton, Mercer Lodge 121, St. Marys Chapter 51, St. Marys Council 81, Sidney Commandry 46, Ohio Priory 18, Knights of the York Cross of Honour and the Araba Shrine Temple in Fort Myers.
Graveside service is 11 a.m. Thursday at Union City Cemetery, Union City, Ind., the Rev. Alex Hershey officiating.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina.
