THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 82 IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT EDT TONIGHT FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS

At 916 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Lima, moving east at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Kenton, Ada, Fort Shawnee, Cridersville, Forest, Dunkirk, Alger, Waynesfield, Blanchard, Mount Victory, Mcguffey, Patterson, Dola, Grant, Silver Creek, Jumbo, Huntersville, Pfeiffer, Walton, and Hepburn.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 117 and 118.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight EDT for west central Ohio.

Irene Brookhart
Irene A. Brookhart, 82, Columbiana, died at 11:30 p.m. March 27, 2012.
She was born Jan. 30, 1930, in Cassella, to L.P. "Dusty" and Bernie Kessen Bomholt. On Sept. 24, 1949, she married Marion L. "Jake" Brookhart, who died at Feb. 10, 1998.
Surviving are four children, Julie (Wayne) Kinard, Loraine (Bill) Bailey, Gary (Barb) Brookhart and Ron (Paulette) Brookhart; a half brother, Tom Bomholt; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a son, Ted Brookhart.
She attended Celina schools and graduated from St. Mary's Academy, Prairie du Chein, Wisc., in 1948. The family moved from Celina in 1971.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Columbiana, and its United Methodist Women, where she served as secretary and on other church committees. She was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Columbiana.
She was active for many years in Celina and Columbiana band and sports boosters. In 2000 she received the Clipper Key Award.
She retired in 1992 from Sheelys Furniture after 20 years service. She had worked for Reynolds and Reynolds, Celina, and J.C. Penney.
Services are 3 p.m. Friday at Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home, Columbiana, the Rev. Paula Archdeacon officiating. Calling is 1-3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Ted Brookhart Memorial Fund, in care of Farmers Bank of Columbia, or to the church.
