* WHERE...In Indiana, Wayne County. In Ohio, Auglaize, Darke, Hardin, Logan, Mercer, and Shelby Counties.
* WHEN...From 6 AM to noon EST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...While temperatures are expected to be in the upper single digits (above zero), a northwest wind at 10-15 mph will make temperatures feel as if they are colder than 10 below zero.

Harry Birt
Harry L. Birt, 84, of New Weston, died May 30, 2012, at Versailles Health Care Center.
He was born Oct. 8, 1927, in New Weston, to Harry L. Sr. and Hazel Peters Birt. His wife of 55 years, Barbara Geiling, survives.
Other survivors are a son, Brad (Teresa) Birt, New Weston; a daughter, Shari (Bruno) Gallo, Orlando, Fla.; and three grandchildren.
He was a second generation owner and operator of Birt's Store, New Weston, which has been family-owned for 92 years. He served in the Merchant Marines during World War II and the Coast Guard during the Korean War. He was a past clerk for the New Weston Village Council, a member of the Fort Recovery Masonic Lodge, the Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton, the Shriners Club of Dayton, Union City Elks and Greenville Friars Club. He also served as treasurer of the Ansonia High School Alumni Association.
A memorial service is 2 p.m. Sunday at First Congressional Christian Church, Greenville. A private family burial is planned.
There are no calling hours.
