Rhoda Derringer
Rhoda L. Derringer, 84, Winchester, Ind., died Oct. 12, 2012, at Persimmon Ridge, Portland, Ind.
She was born April 3, 1928, in Butler, Ky., to Americus and Efie Stacey Roberts. On Oct. 12, 1968, she married Jim Derringer, who died Feb. 17, 2007.
Surviving are three daughters, Lana Bias, Celina, Twila (Larry) Blowers, Greenville, and Pam (Rick) Gabbard, Winchester, Ind.; a son, Kenny (Helen) Williams, Saratoga, Ind., a stepson, Darrel Derringer, Portland, Ind.; a stepdaughter, Deanna (Randy) Mock, Portland, Ind., 18 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a son, Jeff Williams; and two great-grandchildren.
She retired from Fort Recovery Industries. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary, Ridgeville, Ind., Fraternal Order of Eagles, Union City, Ind., and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Fort Recovery.
Services are 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery. Burial is at Salamonia Cemetery in Indiana.
