Nicholas S. Bertke, 21, Minster, died March 11, 2013, at his home.

He was born March 8, 1992, in Minster to Timothy and Teresa Bergman Bertke, who both survive in Minster.

He is also survived by brothers and sister, Andrew Bertke (fiancé Mackenzie Buschur), North Star, Sarah Bertke and Jonathan Bertke, both at home; grandparents, Evelyn Bertke, Cassella, and Larry and Jean Bergman, Egypt; and great-grandmother, Rosalind Gottes, St. Henry.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Joshua Bertke, and his grandfather, Louis Bertke.

He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on small engines and loved the outdoors. He was employed at Post Printing Company, Minster.

Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Friday at St. Augustine Catholic Church, the Rev. Rick Nieberding celebrant. Burial will take place in St. Augustine Cemetery.

Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-9:30 a.m. Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
