Mark Vehorn
Mark A. "Marty" Vehorn, 51, Minster, died at 9:58 a.m. May 1, 2013, at Heritage Manor Nursing Center in Minster. He had been ill one year.
He was born July 7, 1961, in Coldwater to Ralph and Nancy Daly Verhorn, who preceded him in death.
He is survived by his sisters, Jane (Bo) Gast, St. Henry, Beck (Dan) Fullenkamp, Maria Stein, Teri Klosterman (Barry Collinsworth), Durham, N.C., Gail (Steve) Harris, Centennial, Colo. and Chele (Dave) Burd,Newark; and 18 nieces and nephews.
Mark was a plumber and formerly worked at Tom & Jerry's in Fort Loramie. He was a member of the F.O.E. 1391 of Minster, a 1979 graduate of Marion Local High School and enjoyed barbecuing and sharing food with his friends and neighbors.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. John Catholic Church in Maria Stein, the Rev. Gene Schnipke officiating. Burial will be at St. John Cemetery.
Calling is 2-6 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster. Memorial donations may be given to State of The Heart Hospice.
