Ralph Pohl
Ralph L. Pohl, 83, Coldwater, died May 5, 2013, at the Laurels of Shane Hill in Rockford.
He was born Nov. 11, 1929, in Coldwater, to Roman and Cecelia Homan Pohl. On June 24, 1961, he married Joann Muller at St. Louis Church in North Star, and she survives in Coldwater.
Also surviving are three children, Ronald (Marlene) Pohl of Coldwater, Linda Pohl of Coldwater and Lisa (Ralph) Leugers of Fort Recovery; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Rita (Willard) Huwer of St. Henry.
He is preceded in death by a brother, Linus (Virginia) Pohl.
He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Philothea, and its Holy Name Society. He was a retired farmer and a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Korea.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Philothea. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, with military rites.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-9:45 a.m. Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Memorials may be given to State of the Heart Hospice.
