* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

Winds will mainly be out of the south early this morning, before switching to the west during the late morning and early afternoon.

Karen Stief
Karen Sue Stief, 64, Celina, passed away at 8:15 a.m. Aug. 31, 2013, at Colonial Nursing Center in Rockford.
She was born Aug. 17, 1949, in Fort Wayne, Ind., to William and Donna Romary Thomas. On May 15, 1993, she married Larry Stief of Celina.
Surviving are her brother, William (Stephanie) Thomas, Indianapolis, Ind., and a niece, Emily Schroeder, San Bernardino, Calif.
She graduated in 1967 from Southside High School, Fort Wayne. She received her bachelor's degree in nursing from Indiana University and received her master's degree from the University of Florida. She retired from nursing in 1993.
The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
Arrangements are being handled by Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home.
