Robert Brown
Dr. Robert L. "Doc," Brown, 77, Springfield, passed away Nov. 1, 2013, in Springfield after a long illness.
He was born Aug. 10, 1936, in Lima, to Russell and Ethel Miller Brown. His wife of 51 years, Linda, survives.
Also surviving are a brother, James (Jan) Brown, Lima; four sisters, Patricia (Robert) Jordan and Carol (Larry) Swords, all of Lima, Rebecca (Larry) Kuhlhorst, Celina, and Peggy (Thomas) Brandewie, Fort Loramie; and a sister-in-law, Betty Jo (Mel) Lauf, Ottawa.
He was a 1969 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Medicine and interned at Mt. Carmel West in Columbus. He practiced medicine at Community Hospital in Springfield for 18 years.
Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Conroy Funeral Home, Springfield. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery.
