John Ewry
John W. Ewry, 84, Maineville, passed away peacefully Nov. 11, 2013.
He was the son of the late Ralph and Marie Ewry, Portland, Ind., and the beloved husband of Rosemary Buday Ewry, who died in March.
Surviving are his children, Ann (Nick) Buschur, Ralph (Lee) Ewry and Thomas (Angeline) Ewry; grandchildren, Emily and Molly Ewry, and Samantha, Sean and Erin Buschur; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Ewry; five nephews and a niece.
Deceased is a brother, Charles Ewry.
He taught at Coldwater Elementary School for over 25 years and retired in 1985. Following retirement he was employed for 10 years and volunteered at the St. Peter Neurological Center, Mercer County Hospice and Coldwater EMS. He also was a volunteer counselor at Buckeye Boys State.
A memorial service is 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Mueller Funeral Home, Mason.
Calling is immediately following the service until 3 p.m. Sunday
