Alice Broering
Alice H. Broering, 62, Versailles, passed away at 2:20 a.m. Nov. 19, 2013, at her residence.
She was born May 29, 1951, in Greenville, to Sebastian J. "Dick" and Martha A. Benanzer Kremer.
On Nov. 27, 1971, she married Charles "Charlie" Broering, who survives.
Also surviving are daughters and son-in-law, Teresa Broering and Philip Durbin, Boston, Mass., and Linda Broering, Vandalia; sons and daughters-in-law, Matthew (Kristy) Broering, Indianapolis, Ind., Jerry (Emily) Broering, Yorkshire, and Roger Broering, Michigan City, Ind.; grandchildren, Samantha Broering, Tabitha Broering, Naomi Durbin and Erika Durbin; brothers and sister-in-law, Richard Kremer, Versailles, and Mark (Doris) Kremer, Versailles; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jeanette (Gene) Brunswick, Celina, Eileen (Carl) Hess, Caledonia, Vivian (Gerry) Wyen, Tipp City, Bonita (Ralph) Seger, Greenville, and Diana (Kenneth) Bohman, Versailles; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Evelyn Broering.
She was a registration clerk at Wayne HealthCare in Greenville and was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church, Versailles.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Denis Catholic Church, the Rev. Jim Simons celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Valbert Cemetery, Versailles.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles.
Memorial contributions may be made to State of the Heart Hospice or the Cancer Association of Darke County.
