Christmas Tree Festival open

Karen Voress, left, and Judy Meckstroth check out an elaborate display of Christmas trees and Santa figurines at the lockkeeper's house in New Bremen on Sunday. The annual Christmas Tree Festival, sponsored by the New Bremen Historic Association, features seasonal decorations on all three levels. The display will be open for public viewing Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in conjunction with the New Bremen-New Knoxville Rotary Club Christmas tree lighting, as well as 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each weekday until Christmas.
