Very strong wind gusts and dry soil is leading to areas of blowing dust across the area. This is causing visibility to be reduced to one mile or less in localized area.
Motorists should be prepared for rapidly changing visibility. Slow down and leave plenty of distance between you and the vehicle in front of you.
As winds slowly decrease late this afternoon into the evening, blowing dust should diminish.

Steven Land
Steven William Land, 51, Celina, formerly of New Castle, Ind., passed away unexpectedly Dec. 14, 2013, at his home.
He is the son of Joanne Land, Celina, and Gene Land, who is deceased.
He is also survived by a son, Staff Sgt. Steven Todd Land E6 and his wife, Faye; a granddaughter, Makayla Land, Clarksville, Tenn.; a daughter, Tara Faye Land, Lewisville; a sister, Diana (Rex) Spencer, Celina; two nieces, Katie (Eric) Price, Celina, and Emily Spencer, Chicago; a great-niece, Sophia Price, Celina; several friends, aunts, uncles and cousins; and a special friend, Lori Miller.
He was a member of Chicago Corner Church and a member of the Eagles in New Castle and Celina. He loved watching NASCAR and enjoyed Harley-Davidson motorcycles and cooking.
Services are 1 p.m. Thursday at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle, the Rev. Roger Hendricks officiating.
Calling is 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
