Karen Shrock
Karen M. Shrock, 73, Mendon, died at 11 p.m. Aug. 30, 2014, at her son's residence in Versailles.
She was born Jan. 23, 1941, in New Knoxville, to Nathan and Dorothy McQueen Smith. On Feb. 15, 1958, she married Steven H. Shrock Sr., who died Aug. 19, 2011.
Surviving are three sons, Steven Jr. (Tami) Shrock, Versailles, Dave (Shelley) Shrock, Celina, and Scott Shrock, Mendon; and three grandchildren, Damien Shrock, Houston, Texas, Maggi Shrock, Versailles, and Noah Shrock, Celina.
She was retired from Huffy Manufacturing Company. She and her husband bred and raised labrador retrievers for more than 30 years, and were the owners of Justlabradors.com. She was a member of The Lord's Church, Celina. She enjoyed gardening and loved all kinds of animals.
Graveside burial rites are noon Friday at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina, Pastor Steve Howell officiating.
