* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, Kentucky, including the following counties, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...Through Wednesday evening.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Additional thunderstorms are expected through Wednesday. Locally heavy rainfall and the potential for storms to repeatedly track over the same areas are possible. This will result in the potential for flash flooding.

Ethel Hesse
Ethel M. Hesse, 83, Mendon, died at 6:20 p.m. Jan. 18, 2015, at Otterbein St. Marys Retirement Community.
She was born Nov. 1, 1931, in Shandon, to Raymond and Clara Wilkins Irwin. On Sept. 20, 1959, she married Robert E. Hesse, who died Sept. 20, 2006.
Surviving are three children, Susan (John) Pardon, Mendon, Roger (Maryann) Hesse, Spencerville, and John (Amy) Hesse, St. Marys; nine grandchildren, Jennifer Lowe, Brian Pardon, Michael Pardon, Anessa Hesse, Aleisha Hesse, Corbin Hesse, Alayna Hesse, Zachary Hesse and Morgan Hesse; two great-grandchildren, Andrew Pardon and Lauren Pardon; and a brother, Glenn (Celia) Irwin, Marysville.
She was a 1949 graduate of Ross Township High School in Butler County and a 1953 graduate of The Ohio State University, with a Bachelor of Science in home economics. She retired from Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys, where she was a medical transcriptionist for many years. She also was a farm wife and homemaker.
She was a member of Wayne Street United Methodist Church, St. Marys. She also was a member of the Hope Community Club and a 4-H adviser for 25 years in Auglaize County. She enjoyed crossstitch work and sewing.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, west chapel, St. Marys, the Rev. Bill Maki officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton-Bethel Cemetery near Mendon.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to Agape Ministries, St. Marys.
