* WHEN...From this afternoon to Sunday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:40 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 12.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this afternoon to a crest of 13.2 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Denny Jerome arrived in Forest City, Iowa - nine hours and 600 miles away from Celina - over 45 years ago to go to school at Waldorf College in the fall of 1968. That opportunity led to a coaching career that has been legendary.
Jerome, a 1968 graduate of Celina, will be inducted into the National Junior College Athletic Association Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in July for his 42-year tenure as head coach of the women's basketball team. [More]
