At 459 PM EDT, gusty showers were located along a line extending from near Ada to near Northridge, moving east at 25 mph. Some of these showers are capable of producing funnel clouds and isolated thunder.
HAZARD...Funnel clouds and wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include... Marysville, Bellefontaine, Urbana, Kenton, Ada, Plain City, Richwood, St. Paris, West Liberty, Mechanicsburg, North Lewisburg, Forest, Russells Point, De Graff, Lakeview, Dunkirk, Alger, Belle Center, West Mansfield, and Chippewa Park.
Conditions are favorable for the development of weak, brief funnel clouds. This type of funnel cloud is harmless, but on rare occasions they can briefly touch down, producing wind gusts over 50 mph. If a funnel cloud is spotted move indoors and report your sighting to the National Weather Service.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.

John Oldiges
John H. Oldiges, 73, Minster, passed away Feb. 1, 2015, at Complex Care Hospital at Ridgelake in Sarasota, Fla.
He was born Jan. 22, 1942, in Piqua, to Louis and Irma Didier Oldiges. On Sept. 11, 1965, at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, he married Marsha K. Warnock, who died Oct. 2, 2011.
Surviving are three sons, Dave Oldiges, St. Pete Beach, Fla., Mark (Jill) Oldiges, Minster, and Jason (Tracy) Oldiges, Troy; four grandchildren, Erica, Alex, Jack and Elise; two sisters, Elaine (James) Simons, Sidney, and Donna (John) Cornwell, Sidney; a sister-in-law, Kathy Warnock, Minster; and special friend Peggy Cramblett, Sarasota, Fla.
He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster. He retired from Midmark after 39 years as an engineer.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Friday at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-9:30 a.m. Friday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
