Scattered snow showers will become more widespread through this afternoon and then likely linger into this evening before tapering off.
The snow showers will be capable of causing brief periods of reduced visibilities, especially this afternoon. In addition, brisk conditions will prevail with west winds gusting in the 30 to 40 mph range today.
Light snow accumulations will be possible, mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces. While roads will remain mostly wet during the daytime hours, some slick spots may develop toward sunset as temperatures begin to drop below freezing.
Please be prepared for the changing weather conditions today and the potential for reduced visibilities when driving.

Amelia Singleton
Amelia Alice "Amy" (Hudson), Singleton 76, Franklin, died March 5, 2015.
She was born Sept. 26, 1938, in Lebanon, to the late Cicero Wayne and Helen (Morris) Hudson. She was married to Roscoe June Singleton, who is deceased.
Surviving are her stepdaughter, Jill (Aaron) Vaughn, Fort Recovery; three stepgrandchildren, Perry, Marshall, and Cole Hull; one brother, Thomas Adam (Charlene) Hudson, Lebanon; and two nieces, Lori (Fred) Manning, Lebanon, and Shelley (Ed) Davis, Lebanon.
Also deceased is a son-in-law, Thomas A. Hull.
She was a 1956 graduate of Lebanon High School. A member of the Monroe Presbyterian Church, she was a co-owner of AJ Trucking Company.
Calling is 10-11 a.m. Tuesday with funeral service immediately following, all at the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon. Interment will follow in Lebanon Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties.
