* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...From Sunday afternoon through Tuesday evening.
* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Consecutive days of excessive heat and humidity can be especially hazardous as warm overnight temperatures will provide little relief. The heat may continue into Wednesday.

Celina Assistant Police Chief Cal Freeman and personnel from the Celina Police Department and Mercer County Sheriff's Office surround Brandon Lykins on Tuesday in front of Lykins' Sycamore Street home. After a foot chase, Lykins barricaded himself in his bathroom and told officers he had a gun. Lykins later surrendered and no weapon was found.
