Carol Longsworth
Carol Ann Longsworth, 70, of Van Wert, died at 6:53 a.m., Tuesday, shortly after arrival at Van Wert County Hospital.
She was born on April 25, 1945, in Carthagena, the daughter of the late Gregory and Margaret (Braun) Huber. She married Clifford Longsworth on May 5, 1988, and he survives.
Other family members include her four sons, Bruce (Robin) Ganger of Celina, Danny (Holly) Ganger of Rockford, Mark (Christa) Ganger of Van Wert, and Jeff (Shelley) Ganger of Van Wert; three step sons, Jeff Longsworth of Van Wert, Clifford Longsworth, Jr., of Berne, Indiana, and Danny Longsworth of Van Wert; one step-daughter, Nikki Longsworth of Spencerville; three sisters, Vera (Riv Rutschilling) Staugler of Osgood, Antoinette "Nettie" Burger of Celina, and Roberta Wagner of Celina; one brother, Ronald (Jeanie) Huber of Covington, Ohio; 22 grandchildren, Wendy McNerney, Elizabeth Ganger, Brittany Ganger, AJ Ganger, Matthew Butler, Chris Brockman, Mike Brockman, Janice Brockman, Dan Brockman, Corey Weis, Daniel Ganger, Christina Ganger, Angel Ganger, Colin Ganger, Brandon Ganger, Dakota Ganger, Jessica Beveridge, Richard Martin, Rebecca Martin, Isaac Longsworth, Tyler Longsworth, Katie Bradley and Brittney Bradley; and six great grandchildren, Tyson McNerney, Angela Lovell, Isaac Beveridge, Arabella Weis, Dalton Clifford, and Lorelei Clifford.
Besides her parents, Carol was preceded in death by two daughters, Nancy Williams and Cindy Brockman; seven brothers, Joseph, Victor, Albert and Alford, Nobert, LeRoy G. and Louis W. Huber, and three sisters, Alberta Agnes Wagner, Betty Lange and Helen Dunlap.
Services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, August 1, 2015, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Van Wert Woodland Cemetery.
Calling hours are 2-8 p.m., Friday at the Funeral Home.
