Ralph Schnarre
Ralph O. "Jr." Schnarre, 87, formally of Neptune, OH, passed away on August 6, 2015, at 11:10 A.M., at The Laurels of Shane Hill, Rockford, OH.
He was born April 12, 1928 in Mercer County, OH to Ralph O. Sr. and Golda M. (Carroll) Schnarre; both preceded him in death. He married Marie Counterman on January 1, 1960, they were together for 55 years; she survives at the residence in Celina.
Other survivors include two daughters, Karen (Mark) Elshoff, Celina, and Vicki (Eddie) Brooks, Celina; four grandchildren, Rachel (Dan) Guggenbiller, Ft. Recovery, OH, Megan Fleming, Columbus, OH, Craig Brooks, Celina, and Chad Brooks, Ft. Wayne, IN; and two great granddaughters, Riley and Aleeah.
Jr. was a 1947 graduate of Neptune High School. He spent his lifetime farming and owning and operating Schnarre's Garage in Neptune.
He was a member of Neptune Church of God in Neptune. He enjoyed working on engines and visiting with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Private services will be held at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, OH. Burial will be at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys, OH.
