Shelba J. Hubbard, 75, died at 8:40 PM on Friday, August 7, 2015, at Kindred Hospital in Lima, Ohio.

Shelba was born on Wednesday, May 29, 1940, in Celina, Ohio, to Cyrilius Snider and Mary Kathryn (Grunden) Snider. On Wednesday, May 29, 1974, she married Donald H. Hubbard, who preceded her in death.

She was a member of Westside United Methodist Church. Shelba enjoyed taking classes at the Senior citizens Center and loved spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by: daughters, Debra (Greg) Joseph, Cridersville, OH, and Diana (Skip) McVicker-Schumaker, Lima, OH; son, Keith (Charlotte) Peggs, Chickasaw, OH; grandchildren, Danielle McVicker, Dylan McVicker, Joshua Joseph, Jamie Joseph, Jacob Joseph, Amanda Holbrooks, Amber Hoying, several great-grandchildren, her special little guy Preston Tyson, brother, Lewis (Shirley) Snider.

She is preceded in death by: son, Edwin Peggs and son-in-law, Don McVicker.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A funeral service will begin at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio. Rev. William Cronk will officiate. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum, Lima, Ohio.
