Doyt Dull
Doyt V. Dull, 93, Celina, OH, passed away on November 27, 2015, at 5:15 pm, at Celina Manor, Celina, OH.
He was born November 2, 1922 in Chattanooga, OH, to Verne and Anna (Hisey) Dull; both preceded him in death. He married Lois Gudka on November 22, 1947; she preceded him in death in 1993.
Survivors include a son, Dennis Dull, Celina; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Lloyd, Keith, and Kenneth Dull; and a sister, Mary Catherine Now.
He was a 1940 graduate of Celina Senior High School. He served his country in United States Merchant Marines during the WWII era. He retired from New Idea, Coldwater, OH, in 1984 after 40 years of service.
Doyt had many hobbies but he especially enjoyed fishing, hunting, attending auctions, and vacationing. He was a loving husband and father.
He was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Celina, Mercer County Sportsman Association, Celina, and Celina Masonic Lodge #241.
Visitation hours will be from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm, Tuesday, December 1, 2015 in the Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.
Funeral service will begin at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday in the Bethany United Methodist Church, Celina, with Rev. John Exman, officiating; where the family will receive friends and family one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at North Grove Cemetery, Celina, OH; where military honors will be provided by the Celina American Legion Post 210 and Celina VFW Post 5713.
