Mary Kaup
Mary Lydia Kaup, 92, formerly of St. Marys, OH, died 10:36 a.m. Wednesday December 30, 2015 at Celina Manor.
She was born September 1, 1923 in Mooers Forks, NY to Archie and Mary Louise (Meseck) Longtin.
On June 30, 1945, she married Sylvester J. Kaup, who died October 11, 1998.
Survivors include: son Robert Kaup of Celina, OH; son Ronald (Martha) Kaup of Ayersville, OH; daughter Sheila Coffield of Versailles, OH; daughter Ann (Phillip) Fett of New Carlisle, OH; sister Gail Thairin of Albany, NY.
Preceded in death by: parents Archie and Mary Louise Longtin; husband Sylvester Kaup; son Steve Kaup; son Lee Kaup; brother Edward Longtin; brother Herman Longtin; brother Francis Longtin; brother Stephen Longtin; brother Albert Longtin; brother Joseph Longtin; sisters: Velena, Cordella, Clara, Marie Delia, Gayle and Gloria.
She was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served during World War II. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and American Legion Post #323, both in St. Marys. Her favorite pastimes included bowling, playing bingo and singing with the "Sunshine Singers."
Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled to begin 11:00 a.m. Thursday January 7, 2016 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church 511 E. Spring Street in St. Marys, with the Rev. Barry Stechschulte, celebrant. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery in St. Marys.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St. Marys.
