Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Jane E. Breitenstein
Jane E. Breitenstein, 53, Kettering, Ohio, formerly of Fort Recovery, Ohio, died January 28, 2016 at Heartland of Kettering, Kettering, OH.
She was born April 13, 1962 in Portland, IN, to the late Thomas and Cecilia "Sue" (Suhy) Timmerman. On April 5, 1986, she married Joseph Breitenstein, who survives.
Also surviving are four children, Jacob Breitenstein of Kettering, OH, and Maria, Corey, and Rachael, all living at home; her siblings, Ben Timmerman of Honolulu, HI; Jim (Susann) Timmerman of Edmonds, WA, Lee "Terry" (Mana) Timmerman of Bradenton, FL, Bev (Dave) Raths of Tullahoma, TN, Julie (Tom) Montgomery of Dale City, VA, Eileen (Tom) Sass of Copley, OH, Jerry (Jenny) Timmerman of Florence, KY, Phil Timmerman of Kirkland, WA, Phyllis (Dave) Sutter of St. Henry, OH, Ted Timmerman of Sandy, OR, and Peter (Jean) Timmerman of Lincoln, NE; her father-in-law, Tom Breitenstein of Kettering, OH; a brother-in-law, Tommy Breitenstein of Kettering, OH; and 37 nieces and nephews.
Deceased are her son, Matthew, a brother and sister, Jack Timmerman and Judy Timmerman, her mother-in-law, Barbara Breitenstein, and one nephew.
Jane was a 1980 graduate of Fort Recovery High School. She was a homemaker and a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Kettering, Ohio.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, Ohio. Burial will follow at St. Marys Cemetery, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
Calling is 4:00-8:00 pm Tuesday and 9:00-10:00 am Wednesday at Brockman - Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
