* WHERE...The following counties, in west central Ohio, Auglaize and Mercer.
* WHEN...Until 415 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 110 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Coldwater, New Bremen, Minster, St. Henry, Fort Recovery, New Knoxville, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Carthagena and Maria Stein.

* Flash Flood Warning for... West Central Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Northeastern Shelby County in west central Ohio...
* Until 400 PM EDT.
* At 108 PM EDT, trained weather spotters reported flash flooding across the warned area. Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Trained spotters reported.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Anna, Jackson Center, Botkins, New Knoxville, Kettlersville, Montra, Mccartyville and Maplewood.

At 1258 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Anna, moving southeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and very heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Visibility will be poor and hydroplaning is possible.
Locations impacted include... Sidney, Minster, Anna, Fort Loramie, Jackson Center, Botkins, Hardin, Port Jefferson, Kettlersville, Montra, Newbern, Lake Loramie State Park, Maplewood, Mccartyville, Swanders, and Bloom Center.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 87 and 107.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.

Orville Ranly
Orville S. Ranly, age 89, of Philothea, passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Celina Manor.
He was born April 2, 1926, in Cassella, Ohio, to the late Peter & Sophia (Speck) Ranly. On August 20, 1947 he married Alma (Post) Ranly and she died July 23, 2013.
He is survived by eight children, Donna (Jack) Thobe of New Bremen, Nancy (Bill) Mueller of St. Henry, Linda McKitterick of Van Wert, David Ranly of Woodington, Roger (Karen) Ranly of St. Henry, Floyd (Betty) Ranly of Celina, Cindy (Dennis) Wellman of Bryant, Indiana, and Connie (Dave) Heinrichs of Coldwater, 24 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, siblings, Don (Joan) Ranly, Columbia, MO, Ella Mae (Ralph) Liette, Chickasaw, in-laws, Rosemary Obringer, Coldwater, Marie Ranly, St. Henry, Ben (Joan) Post, St. Henry, Mary Alice Faller, New Weston, Leon Vondrell, Ft. Recovery, Henry Drees, St. Marys, and Alice Post, St. Henry.
He is preceded in death by infant children, Mary, Joseph and John, a son-in-law, Sam McKitterick, siblings and spouses, Alvina (Walter) Klosterman, Norbert (Ethel) Ranly, Rev. Victor Ranly C.PP.S., Hilda (Florus) Obringer, Sr. Theresa Joseph, Paul (Erma) Ranly, Lucille (Ben) Droesch, Art (Eileen) Ranly, Rita (Ray) Flaute, Rev. Ernest Ranly C.PP.S., infant sister Mary Ellen, infant brothers Walter and Joseph, and in-laws, Eugene (Esther) Post, Gregor (Esther) Post, Zeno (Dolores) Post, Hugo (Norma) Post, Alvin Post, Rita (Herman) Nerderman, Agnes (Paul) Fullenkamp, Zita Drees, Rosie Vondrell, and Jim Faller.
He was a very active member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Philothea, and sang in the choir. Orville was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Second World War, and served as a past commander of the Coldwater American Legion.
He worked at the former New Idea factory in Coldwater for 42 years. He was also a member of the C.K. of A. in Cassella, the Knights of St. John in Maria Stein, and was a past school board member.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Philothea. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home-Coldwater on Tuesday, February 2, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
Memorials may be made to ViaQuest Hospice of Mercer County.
