Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Win over Coldwater gives Minster 14th outright conference championship

COLDWATER - Before Thursday's game, Minster girls basketball coach Nann Stechschulte pointed out to her team that the program's 13 previous Midwest Athletic Conference titles were all outright titles.
Call it a subtle hint.
Minster worked the ball inside to freshman Courtney Prenger early and often and the defense shut down Coldwater in the middle two quarters to allow the Wildcats to run the table in the conference with a 44-33 win at the Palace. [More]
