Widespread fog has developed this morning. Some patchy dense fog is also being observed. Motorists are advised to prepare for quickly changing conditions with visibilities reduced below a quarter mile in some locations. The fog will slowly improve by mid to late morning.
When encountering fog, be sure to turn on low beam headlights, slow down, and increase following distance.

Lois Gamble
Lois Burton Gamble, 88, of St. Marys, Ohio died Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Otterbein St. Marys nursing home.
She was born April 25, 1929, in Olive Hill, Kentucky, daughter of Dempsey and Mae Burton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 sisters Gladys, Mallie, June and Vernice and 2 brothers Clyde and Ralph.
She was married to Reverend William Harsin (deceased) for 27 years and had three wonderful children. She then married Byron Gamble (deceased) in April of 1983 and was married for 20 years.
She is survived by 3 children, Rebecca Harsin, Phoenix, Arizona; Mary Jo Beer (Terry), Bluffton, Indiana; and Stephen Harsin, Las Vegas, Nevada; 3 stepchildren, Kay (Paul) Assenheimer, Lima, Ohio; Lynn (Mary) Gamble, Mariposa, California; Beth (Ray) Gaydos, Caldwell, Ohio; 3 grandchildren, Jamie (Jeff) Elzey, Fishers, Indiana; Amie Omler, Indianapolis, Indiana; Dr. Jody (Rob) Wilson, Indianapolis, Indiana; and 6 step grandchildren, Bill, Mike, Theresa, Grant, Lidia and Jared. She is also survived by 2 nieces, 1 nephew, 2 great grandchildren and 7 step great grandchildren.
Lois was a graduate of Asbury College in Wilmore, Kentucky and taught elementary education for 29 years including at Crestview School and Hopewell-Loudon School. She was very active in her community, school and church and served on numerous boards and committees, including President of UMW, Scout Den mother and camp counselor.
She lived for 9 years at Otterbein Senior Retirement (St. Marys) where she was also very active on various committees and had many good friends including Mel Gehm and Don Rowe.
Her favorite pastime was spending time with her grandchildren and she will always be remembered for having chocolate chip cookies in the cookie jar when they came to visit.
Memorial services will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, July 9, 2016, in the Meyer Community Chapel on the Campus of Otterbein St. Marys Retirement Community, the Reverend Carol Sainey, officiant.
Friends may call from noon until the time of services on Saturday at Otterbein, where memorial gifts may be given to the Otterbein St. Marys Tree Fund.
