Yvonne A. Post, age 84, of Celina, passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2016, at Celina Manor.
She was born September 11, 1931 in Coldwater, a daughter of the late Urban & Hilda Heckman Wint. Yvonne married Ralph Bernard "Butch" Post on May 3, 1958, and he preceded her in death on April 6, 1993.
She is survived by her children, Larry "Wally" Post and Sandy (Gary) Smith, of Celina, two grandchildren, Jennifer (Toby) Dick of Lima, and Ryan Michelle (Cale Dresbach) Smith of Columbus, two Great Grandchildren, Bryson & Carson Dick, and two sisters, Joan Eversman of St. Marys and Geneva Beickman of Columbus.
A sister, Betty Wurster, preceded her in death.
A graduate of Coldwater High School, Yvonne was a homemaker, and a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Celina. She enjoyed reading, especially the Bible.
Private Services for the family will be held at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina, with Fr. Ken Alt, C.PP.S., presiding.
Burial will follow at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery in Celina.
In honor of Yvonne, memorial contributions may be made to State of the Heart Care, the American Heart Association or to the Donor's Choice.
