Amber K. Ames, 30, of Lima, OH died Saturday September 3, 2016 at her residence.

She was born August 26, 1986 in Deland, FL to Jerry and Lena Kay (Sawmiller) Ames, Jr.

Survivors include: son Cam'ron O'Fray of Celina, OH; son Brylen Parker of Van Wert, OH; daughter Adazia Fitzgerald of Lima, OH; son Jy'Mani Cartwright of Celina, OH; father Jerry Ames of Celina, OH; mother Lena (Sawmiller) Ames of Celina, OH; sister Danielle Ames of Celina, OH; brother Adam Roberts of St. Marys, OH; sister Molly Roberts of Celina, OH; half-sister Lisa Ann Roberts of St. Marys, OH; step-father Lanny Roberts of St. Marys, OH; grandparents Mary Ames of Deltona , FL and Vercie Roberts of St. Marys, OH.

Preceded in death by: grandparents Jerry Ames, Sr.; Jack Sawmiller, Sr., Clyde Roberts.

She was a graduate of Coldwater High School (Class of 2002). A homemaker, she had previously worked as a waitress and a bartender. Her favorite pastimes included dancing, doing hair and make-up, and spending time with family and friends.

Rites are scheduled to begin 10:30 a.m. Saturday September 10, 2016 at Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St. Marys. Pastor Judy Baker will officiate the services. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, near Moulton, OH.
