St. Marys to borrow $2M
Electric fund will be repaid

ST. MARYS - City officials are pursuing a $2 million loan to reimburse the city's electric fund and continue with distribution upgrades.
Council members on Monday passed under suspension of rules an emergency ordinance authorizing the reimbursement of expenses for electric meters and substation transformers. Safety service director Greg Foxhoven said about $333,000 would be earmarked for the electric fund while the remainder would pay for the distribution upgrades. [More]

Fort Wayne man pleads not guilty in robbery
CELINA - A Fort Wayne, Indiana, man pleaded not guilty on Monday to charges in connection to the September robbery of a Second National Bank branch.
Casey Atkins, 38, appeared in Mercer County Common Pleas Court facing a third-degree felony robbery charge and a fifth-degree felony theft charge.

CELINA - Defense was the key in both games during Monday night's finale of the 31st OVISCO Classic girls basketball tournament at the Fieldhouse.
