* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...The following counties, in west central Ohio, Auglaize, Darke, Mercer and Shelby. * WHEN...Until 700 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 356 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Fort Loramie, New Bremen, Minster, Newport, New Knoxville, Russia, Osgood, Willowdell, Chickasaw, Kettlersville, Yorkshire, Lake Loramie State Park, Egypt, Maria Stein, Mccartyville and Houston.

MINSTER - The majority of Americans celebrated the country's independence on Tuesday.
Minster celebrated another baseball title.
A month removed from winning the Division IV state baseball championship, the Wildcats claimed the Auglaize/Shelby County Sectional title on the Fourth of July with a 7-4 victory over rival New Bremen at Hanover Street Park. [More]

Members of law enforcement were busy with festivals in St. Henry and Celina, but the five-day period from June 30-July 4 went smoothly, officials said.
Coldwater wins twice to capture county ACME crown; Redskins also advance to district
COLDWATER - After having suffered a loss to St. Henry on Monday night in the winner's bracket final, Coldwater needed one win to advance to the district and two wins to claim the Mercer County ACME baseball sectional title.
Grand Lake scored four runs in the top of the ninth and then fended off a Xenia rally in the bottom of the inning to improve to 10-9 with the 9-6 win over the Scouts at Gradys Field at the Athletes in Action Complex in Xenia on Tuesday afternoon.
