A fire fully engulfs a barn in the 9400 block of Rice Road near Bogart Road in Mendon on Monday night. Mendon, Celina and Rockford firefighters reportedly responded to the scene at 8:58 p.m. Mendon Fire Chief Daryl Etgen said the cause of the fire is unknown and no one was inside the structure at the time. The fire caused about $100,000 in damages as two tractors, two wagons and two trailers were destroyed.
