* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...The following counties, in west central Ohio, Auglaize and Mercer.
* WHEN...Until 415 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 110 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Coldwater, New Bremen, Minster, St. Henry, Fort Recovery, New Knoxville, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Carthagena and Maria Stein.

* Flash Flood Warning for... West Central Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Northeastern Shelby County in west central Ohio...
* Until 400 PM EDT.
* At 108 PM EDT, trained weather spotters reported flash flooding across the warned area. Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Trained spotters reported.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

John Dicke
John E. Dicke age 95 of St. Marys, formerly of New Bremen, died on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 5:40 P.M. at the Otterbein Senior Lifestyle Choices of St. Marys.
He was born on January 14, 1922 near New Bremen, the son of the late Herbert H. and Sabine S. (Doenges) Dicke. On October 27, 1945, he married LaRue H. Meckstroth, and she survives in St. Marys.
Also surviving are his children Carol (Gerald) Ferguson of Shreveport, LA, and Donna (Norman) Jacoby of New Bremen, his grandchildren; Jill Ferguson, Dan (Amy) Jacoby, Jennifer (Ken) Wolters, Jodi (Doug) Schaefer, sixteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
John was preceded in death by a son Thomas H. Dicke, and his siblings Donald Dicke, Leola Tangeman, and Robert Dicke.
John was a faithful member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in New Bremen, where he had served as a Deacon. He was engaged in farming for most of his life, and also worked at the former STAMCO of New Bremen, and retired in 1987 from Crown Equipment Corp. of New Bremen, where he had been a machinist.
In his retirement, John became a full time fisherman on Grand Lake. He enjoyed fishing as much as he could, and even supplied Sunny Side for their fish fries for many years. Together, he and LaRue enjoyed fishing, playing cards with friends, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
Funeral Services will be held in the Meyer Community Room of the Otterbein Senior Lifestyle Choices-St. Marys on Monday, October 9, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Becky Erb Strang officiating. Interment will follow in the German Protestant Cemetery of New Bremen.
Friends may call one hour prior to the services on Monday in the Meyer Community Room.
Memorial Contributions in memory of John can be made to the Otterbein Partner Appreciation Fund or to Grand Lake Hospice.
