* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...The following counties, in west central Ohio, Darke and Mercer.
* WHEN...Until 1230 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 929 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Fort Recovery, Sharps Crossing, Greenville, Coldwater, Union City, St. Henry, Ansonia, Burkettsville, North Star, Rossburg, New Weston, Rose Hill, Brock, Cosmos, andPikeville.

Karen Brewer
Karen F. Brewer, age 65, of Montezuma, died on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at her home.
She was born May 19, 1952 in Coldwater to the late Vincent & Adeline (Roessner) Pottkotter. On July 17, 1971, she married Ronald Brewer and he survives in Montezuma.
She is survived by her children, Amy & Tom Fletcher of Cincinnati, Ryan & Nykole Brewer of Anna and Nathan & Dana Brewer of St. Henry; eight grandchildren: Ian & Alec Fletcher, Addison, Brianna, Sophia and Riley Brewer and Avery & Finley Brewer; siblings, Larry & Arlene Parker of Oklahoma, Susan & John Thobe of Missouri, Mike Parker of Columbus and Joyce Fritz of Coldwater; and in-laws, Chris & Karen Brewer of Florida and Christine Brewer of Missouri.
She is preceded in death by siblings and in laws, Joan & Clete Muhlenkamp, Jim Pottkotter, Dave Fritz and Richard Brewer.
She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church where she served as a funeral greeter and lay distributor. She was a former CCD teacher at St. John Parish in Maria Stein and retired from Dannon in Minster. Karen enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and lived by the motto Life is Good.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM Friday October 13, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Montezuma. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 PM Thursday and 9 to 10 am Friday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research.
