At 716 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Spencerville to near Rockford to 10 miles northwest of Celina, moving southeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, Rockford, Mendon, Buckland, Montezuma, Chattanooga, Kossuth, Tama, Neptune, State Route 116 at State Route 197, and Bulkhead.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph, frequent cloud-to-ground lightning, and very heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Lightning can cause serious injury or death. Visibility will be poor and hydroplaning is possible.
Locations impacted include... Rockford, Mendon, Chattanooga, and Tama.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.
Motorists should slow down and use extra caution.

Pax Machine honors Coldwater youths for STEM designs

CELINA - Two Coldwater seventh-graders got to see the final version of their science, technology, engineering and math challenge design on Thursday before it was put into use at PAX Machine.
Lucas Pohlman and Keegan Bruggeman were shown the final design of their shaker tray holder, engineered by Allen Hartings, as it will be put into use. Pohlman and Bruggeman's design was picked out of about 15 groups of seventh-graders who had been presented with a problem from PAX Machine last year. [More]
